In the new era of minimalism, there is something about Dior motifs that is still so classy and can sit so well with the rest of your wardrobe.
And so, for summer 2019, Kim Jones (Artistic Director of Dior Menswear) has reinterpreted the Dior oblique canvas, originally introduced in 1967, as an all-over motif on several accessories, including a backpack, a series of pouches that can be carried or slipped inside a bag, and a saddle pouch that can be hand-carried as a belt bag to carry men's essentials.
Dior also reprises the 'roller' bag, employing the iconic canvas with a see-through mesh. It can be carried as a pouch or worn crossbody, thanks to an adjustable and removable nylon strap with 'Christian Dior' jacquard and leather detailing.
The Dior oblique canvas also appears as a detail on some sneakers, in high- and low-top versions, combining Dior savoir-faire with couture details, and featuring the emblematic motif worked with microfibre transparency.
Dior Oblique Summer 2019 accessories is available at Dior Men boutique, Suria KLCC, Malaysia.
