Nike’s first lifestyle Air unit, the 270, joins with the brand’s softest, smoothest and most resilient foam, Nike React, to form a new articulation of Air Max. So I decided to try a pair. You know how Air Max are comfortable right? But the new Nike Air Max 270 React - it is super comfortable.
When I saw the collection, there are plenty of colourway to choose from, and they all look great. But I've picked up the blue monotone Impressionism Art pair that seemed more sleek to fit my style.
The design on the shoes' upper are layers of felt-like materials that gives it the great design aesthetic and kinda gives me the old school #throwback feel.
“Instead of no-sew or stitched on panels, the Air Max 270 React is built with a bar tack technique inspired by the Element React 87," explains Dylan Raasch, Nike Senior Sportswear Design Director. "This creates the floating eye stay aesthetic."
The latest silhouette continues a drive for iterative progress in the Air Max lineage, and with the addition of the Nike React technology results in a smooth transition from heel to forefoot and an energetic sculpting.
Wearing the shoes, I love how weightless it feels. The shoes fits true to size, with two heels pillow to support my long walk. And when I wore it to the KL Fashion Week recently, it received plenty of attention too. So I know I’ve made the right choice!
The new Nike Air Max 270 React is now available at all Nike retailers.
